The Wisconsin delegation will soon have another Republican with Derrick Van Orden as Congressman. His Democrat opponent will be State Senator Brad Pfaff. 

Derrick’s journey of public service started when he joined the Navy at the age of 18. He had the honor to serve our great nation for 26 years. He retired as a Navy SEAL Senior Chief with 5 combat deployments and several others to troubled areas in the world.

His first combat deployment was to Bosnia Herzegovina immediately following the signing of the Dayton Accords. Tim Michels will be taking on Governor Tony Evers. 

Born and raised in Brownsville, Tim Michels, endorsed by President Trump, is a conservative outsider who has a plan to put Wisconsin on the right track.

At the age of nine, Tim’s dad handed him a shovel and taught him how to dig trenches, while his mom taught him how to drive trucks. After graduating from Lomira High School in Dodge County, he attended Saint Norbert College in Green Bay, where he was active in ROTC. Following college, he continued his service in uniform by joining the United States Army. He served for 12 years, leaving the service with a rank of Major. Senator Roger Roth- Lt Governor facing Sara Rodriguez. Senator Roth has been a State Senator since 2015 and served his Assembly District for two terms prior (2007-2011). 

Born and raised in the Fox Valley, Roger has learned the values of hard work and personal sacrifice. Roger became active in his family’s Appleton-based construction business as a teenager and would later manage all aspects of its operations.

Following graduation from UW-Oshkosh, Roger joined the Wisconsin Air National Guard, with multiple deployments to the Middle East in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Rep. Amy Loudenbeck will face off against Sec of State Doug La Follette. Now for a quick history lesson on Secretary La Follette. He was Sec of State from 1975-1979 and since 1983. He has been in office throughout the Presidencies of Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Barack Obama, Donald Trump, and Joe Biden. Seriously, through nine administrations (four of which were two terms). This also equals eight Wisconsin governors. He was in the State Senate before that as a young 33-year-old man.
